Program Evaluation

Analysis

Program evaluation is a powerful tool that allows program heads to communicate program successes to stakeholders, funders, and board members.

Advanced scheduling

Program evaluations are scheduled on strategic time frame, generally yearly to report outcomes & outputs to funders. Advanced scheduling allows for deadlines to be met, as well as allow for project completion.

Findings are presented in a report with an executive summary and a 1 page synopsis of highlights. All findings are a direct result of data available.

Quality control

Communication prior to starting the program evaluation is pivotal to the success of the report. Findings will show the impact of the mission statement on clients. All findings are communicated with program heads prior to publication to stakeholders.

Overview

This particular program evaluation was the first for this particular department. The department was looking for baseline outcome metrics ($ spent, # of people served, # families served, geographical map of clients, highest zip codes seeking assistance). Outputs reported detail on the clients (gender, age, finances, family size, extent of financial needs) seeking assistance.

The goal of the evaluation was to set baseline metrics for long-term analysis and program success as well as identifying any additional need of increased services.
